API v3 (Beta): Metadata Field Changes

Dear SDN user,

During this maintenance window, we will deploy changes to the API V3 concerning different metadata.

The API parameter sourceLanguage will be deprecated and split into two new parameters: audioLanguage, which is the language of the first audio track of the file used for transcription and other features, and displayLanguage, which is the language of any text which appears in the video.

Additionally, we will remove the following seldom-used metadata fields in API v3: nativeLanguage, iabCategories, media shares, metaPictureUri, rating, genre, relationship, studio, licensor and licenseArea.

If you currently use any of the removed fields, please contact our support about migration to custom metadata fields instead.
